MY01 is a state-of-the-art medical diagnostic aid for the detection of acute compartment syndrome. Stathera is a business focused on delivering a suite of tailored timing and frequency reference solutions for the semiconductor industry. MY01 Inc. was originally founded as the result of a university research project initiated by Dr. Edward J. Harvey, a renowned Montreal trauma surgeon. What initially started as a small team in a research lab at McGill University in 2015, has now transformed into a growth stage med-tech business comprising nearly 50 professionals - and we’re only just getting started.


Based in Montreal, our growing, diverse team specializes in the development of next generation Microelectromechanical System (MEMS) sensors used in a variety of medical devices. MY01 Inc. is on a mission to empower healthcare professionals with the ability to pre-empt severe medical conditions, to improve patient outcomes. One of these medical conditions is Acute Compartment Syndrome.

MY01’s looking for Quality Control Inspectors that are specialized in inspecting small and precision equipment and that have previous experience working on medical, electronic, or precision assembly inspections. The ideal candidate needs to be meticulous, have a great attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.

The successful applicant will earn valuable experience in a fast moving, collaborative, and high performing Startup environment.

The Quality Control Inspector will report directly to Quality Control Supervisor will be expected to work a total of 40 hours per week.


  • Perform incoming and in process inspections at different stage of the manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance of the incoming material from external suppliers according to specifications and other relevant documentation.
  • Perform visual inspection with a microscope and document results on inspection report.
  • Know Good documentation practices.
  • Record inspection and quality results on paper or electronically.
  • Notify supervisor in the case of new type of nonconformity.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proficient with microscope and multimeter.
  • Able to work in a clean room and know the associated protocols.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Dedicated, hard-working, and focused on the task for prolonged period of time.
  • Good eye / hand coordination.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvement.


  • 1-3 years’ experience in quality control or other relevant experience in manufacturing ideally in the medical or micro-electronic field.
  • Quick learner as well as self-learner to adapt to start-up environment needs.
  • Creative personality that is also autonomous, enthusiastic and meticulous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team

Inspecteur Contrôle Qualité

MY01 est à la recherche d'un inspecteur contrôle qualité à temps plein (40 heures / semaine) pour se joindre à notre équipe située dans le Montréal downtown.
Nous sommes à la recherche d’un candidat ayant de l'expérience en inspection visuelle et/ou assemblage de précision dans le domaine médical ou micro-électronique. Sous la supervision du directeur qualité le candidat devra effectuer les tâches suivantes.


  • Effectuer des contrôles de qualité à la réception, durant les processus manufacturiers à plusieurs étapes de la chaine de production.
  • S’assurer de la conformité des pièces et du matériel reçus des fournisseurs par rapport aux spécifications ou autres documentations pertinente.
  • Effectuer l'inspection visuelle des produits à l'aide du microscope
  • Connaître les bonnes pratiques de documentation.
  • Enregistrement des résultats d’inspection sur papier ou électroniquement.
  • Aviser le directeur qualité lors de l'apparition de nouvelle défaut ou non-conformité
  • Autres tâches selon les besoins.

Candidat idéal

  • Expérience avec l'utilisation du microscope et multimètre.
  • Capable de travailler en salle blanche et connaître les protocoles associés.
  • Un haut degré de concentration et une attention visuelle soutenue pendant des périodes prolongées ainsi qu'une très grande attention au détail.
  • Proactif en suggérant des améliorations.


  • 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en contrôle qualité ou autre expérience dans l’industrie manufacturière idéalement dans le domaine médical ou micro-électronique.
  • Personnalité créative qui est également autonome, enthousiaste et méticuleuse.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à travailler en équipe.
